Have any of you guys seen MDF displays in retail stores yet? They’re amazing and quite literally transforming the look and quality of display units up and down the country.
Medium density fiberboard (MDF) is a high grade, composite material that performs better than solid wood in many areas (such as changes in heat and humidity). Made from recycled wood fibers and resin, MDF is machine dried and pressed to produce dense, stable sheets.
Beautiful wooden FSDU’s (Free Standing Display Units) that scream quality
MDF is also priced affordably – meaning you can have a lovely rustic style wooden display unit in multiple stores without breaking the bank! While they are more expensive than the average corrugated cardboard fsdu’s they are also much more permanent and resilient. A clever way to make them work for campaign after campaign is to use a removable cardboard headboard that will display the latest message – as has been done with this lovely unit we printed below!
Heineken’s Beer and Food FSDU is a perfect example of why these units work so well – holding bottles upon bottles of heavy liquid – they look amazing and just as good as the first day they were put in!
