Well its been busy for the print and design heads in Horizon. Lets give you the highlights of what was truly a fantastic month for us!
Winning Silver at the An Post Smart Marketing Awards
We started off the month with a bang by winning silver for the promotional Halloween direct mail that was designed and printed in-house. We poured such a lot of heart into developing it so that it illustrated who we are and what we can give our clients in terms of design, marketing, brand development, campaign strategy, and of course print! We were just so proud for it to be acknowledged by such an incredible line-up of judges. Take a look at all the winners from the night
Bringing Sweetzzas Back
You probably saw that in April we ran a campaign and sent out lots of our printed ‘Sweetzzas’ (yes its a thing.. half sweets, half pizzas :-P). Well they went down so well we thought we’d keep them going! Now all new clients will be welcomed to Horizon with one. Sure is a sweet way to start a businesses relationship!

What did we get up to in May?
Running the Dublin Staff Relay
When we’re not busy in our printing house a lot of us like to get the exercise in and have craic! This is the second time we’ve taken part in the Dublin Staff Relay with two teams and this time we got ourselves a tent. Can’t say we came first in (or in the top 100 ;)) but we have a blast anyway! It’s also just down the road from us in Phoenix Park so happy days. Let us know if you’ll be attending next year so we can meet up!

What better way to finish off a month than winning a gold at the hugely respected international FESPA Awards that took place this year in Munich. Printers from all over the world came together for what was a wonderful night and we’re so proud we took home a gold for Integrated Print Campaign of the Year 2014. Check out our our blogpost on it
